High Ground
- Rule Category
- Terrain
- Description
- High Ground hexes are used to mark dry, elevated, open ground in scenarios that use Flooded Fields rules. ◆ Movement: No movement restrictions. ◆ Battle: No combat restrictions. The difference in elevation between High Ground, Roads and other dry Terrain pieces on one hand, and Flooded Fields on the other, is not sufficient to cause any terrain Battle dice reduction either way. ◆ Line of Sight: A High Ground hex does not block line of sight.

Hills
- Rule Category
- Terrain
- Description
- ◆ Movement: No movement restrictions. ◆ Battle: When battling an enemy unit that is up a Hill, Infantry and Armor reduce the number of Battle dice rolled by 1 and Artillery Battle dice are not reduced. When battling an enemy unit at the same height as your unit, there is no Battle dice reduction. ◆ Line of Sight: A Hill blocks line of sight for units trying to look over the Hill. Line of sight is not blocked when units are at the same height and on the same Hill (plateau effect).

Hobart's Funnies (Assault Bridge)
- Rule Category
- Weapons
- Description
- Assault Bridge In lieu of battling, a Hobart’s Funnies unit equipped with an Assault Bridge may place its bridge over any adjacent River hex and move onto it during the same turn. Once set, the Assault Bridge functions the same as a standard bridge (Terrain 9 - Bridges). The bridge accessory may only be used one time; once placed, another bridge may not be built by this same Churchill unit during the game.
