Firefight is a great tool to clean up enemy forces that are scattered across the battlefield and hiding out in towns and forests.  The ability to roll one extra dice for every attack with Firefight is powerful!

Take a look at these two pics.

The Allies are able to reach out and kill the Infantry unit hiding in the woods.

And then they are able to take out the single Engineer Infantry unit as well.

The final result is that the Allies move from two Victory Medals up to four medals, while the Axis have just one.  Firefight is a powerful card that can dramatically take down the enemy, and improve your position.

Be sure to hold this card until the right opportunity allows you to attack with all four units.  Don't waste it if only one or two are available.  This may require you to move into position to maximize your attack.  But don't move too close, as any of your units which are adjacent to enemy units cannot be used in the Firefight.
