Memoir 44's Operation Spring has a large slash of a hill going across the center of the battlefield at an angle.  This distinctive terrain feature becomes the primary battlefield for much of the scenario.

Take a look at the attached pic. 

You will see that both forces are on the hill, battling it out face to face with the armor.

Hills of course give your armor 33% advantage when you are battling any forces beneath you. If you can stay on the hill and keep them off, you are in the best position to win a series of tactical engagements.
